Andrew Wiard began his professional career working through Report of London, one of the last to pass through the hands of Simon Guttmann, who had been directing photographers ever since founding his Dephot organisation in pre-war Berlin. While doing a wide range of other work over the years, his main interest has remained the reporting of news, current affairs, politics and campaigning.
